Driver partner terms
Effective date: 25 February 2026 | Last updated: 18 September 2026
Drivers on Zride are independent partners of Asli One Global Private Limited (CIN U62011TN2026PTC190105, GSTIN 33ABFCA0187P1ZF), registered office 309/3, Yasmin Nagar, Vedhanarayanapuram, Ozhalur, Tirukalikundram, Kanchipuram 603111, Tamil Nadu, India. You are not an employee of Zride; you decide when to go online and which rides to accept.
The terms that apply to driver partners — eligibility, verification, conduct, zero commission, the daily and per-ride platform fee, cancellation, safety duties and account standing — are set out in the Zride Terms of Service (sections 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 16) and the Refund & Cancellation Policy (sections 2 and 6). Current fees are on the Products & Services page and in the Zride Partner app. Our Privacy Policy explains how your documents and location are handled.
What you keep and what you pay
- You keep 100% of the fare, plus any peak surcharge, waiting charge, cancellation charge and tip. Zride takes no commission.
- The passenger pays you the fare and a ₹5 Zride platform fee (GST-inclusive) per ride. The ₹5 is Zride's; it is debited from your platform balance when the ride completes (not during your free period).
- After your free period (up to 90 days, shown in the app) you pay a flat ₹20 per active day for autos, GST-inclusive — only on days you complete at least one ride.
- GST tax invoices for every platform fee are in the Partner app. Zride charges no GST on your fare; your own tax position on fares is your responsibility.
- Fee changes are notified in the app at least 15 days in advance.
Your legal duties as a driver
- Hold and keep current a driving licence with transport endorsement, RC, fitness certificate, contract-carriage permit, pollution-under-control certificate and the cover for the vehicle that the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 requires. These are your obligations under the law; Zride verifies them and suspends accounts with expired documents.
- Charge only what the app shows: the Government of Tamil Nadu tariff plus the displayed platform fee. No negotiation, no refusal of short trips.
- Do not drive on the Platform for more than 12 hours in a day; the app enforces the break required by the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines, 2020.
- Follow the Zride Driver Guidelines and the prohibited-conduct rules in section 5 of the Terms of Service.
